Former Permanent Representative of the U.S. to NATO, Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison, joined American Ambassadors Live! Podcast host Ambassador Jim Rosapepe to discuss the historic alliance and its current challenges.
Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison served as the Permanent Representative of the United States to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization from 2017 to January of 2021. Prior to her ambassadorship, she was the elected to the Texas House of Representatives, as the Texas State Treasurer, and to the U.S. Senate. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, she was deeply involved in NATO and other international issues.
Ambassador Jim Rosapepe served as the U.S. Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001 and is a member of the CAA Board of Directors. He currently is Chairman and CEO of Patuxent Capital Group LLC and serves in the Maryland State Senate.
