The Council of American Ambassadors Spring 2022 conference, Mr. Putin's War, brought a discussion from Walter Russell Mead regarding Russia's actions.

Moderator: Ambassador Timothy Chorba was elected President of the Council of American Ambassadors in May 2012. He served as Ambassador to Singapore from 1994 to 1998. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Chorba was a partner in the Patton Boggs law firm in Washington, DC, which he joined in 1977 and rejoined upon his return to the United States. Speaker: Walter Russell Mead (Hudson Institute) (Wall Street Journal): Walter Russell Mead is the Ravenel B. Curry III Distinguished Fellow in Strategy and Statesmanship at Hudson Institute, the Global View Columnist at The Wall Street Journal and the James Clarke Chace Professor of Foreign Affairs and Humanities at Bard College in New York. Before joining Hudson, at the Council on Foreign Relations, Mr. Mead was the Henry A. Kissinger senior Fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy.
