Building Bridges in Austria

Ambassador Trevor Traina has long been familiar with Austria and the art of diplomacy. His position as Ambassador was held previously by his grandfather, Ambassador Wiley Buchanan. During his own tenure, Ambassador Traina faced challenges from a government shutdown to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this Roundtable, Ambassador Traina shares his experiences dealing with Russian influence, terrorism, and how he helped transform and clarify the U.S.-Austrian relationship.
