Ambassador Laurie Fulton speaks to the effect an impeachment inquiry process would have on trade such as the yet to be passed by Congress USMCA and upcoming US-China trade talks. Watch the interview on Fox Business.
“ You saw in the President’s speech at the UN be very tough on China, there’s a lot of nerves. There’s also the question of if there is some sort of impeachment inquiry process what happens to the new NAFTA and the other trade deals. So there’s a real concern about whether there will be more obstruction and less things will get done. All these things are coming together right now to contribute to the uncertainty."
Ambassador Stuart Holliday served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for Special Political Affairs. He is the President and CEO of the Meridian International Center.
