Bill Richardson nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

February 1, 2019: Ambassador Bill Richardson was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for decades of work on behalf of hostages and prisoners held in several nations, including North Korea. Read about his nomination here in The Washington Post.

Ambassador Richardson served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 1997 to 1998, Secretary of Energy from 1998 to 2000, and Governor of New Mexico from 2003 to 2011.
