Russia, Post-Cold War Relations and U.S. Policy

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul joins podcast host Ambassador Jim Rosapepe to discuss his background in Russian studies, post-Cold War relations with Russia, and offers recommendations for present U.S. foreign policy towards Russia. Ambassador Michael McFaul served as U.S. Ambassador to Russia from 2012 to 2014. He is the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution as well as a professor of political science, director and senior fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University. Ambassador McFaul also currently works as a news analyst for NBC.

Ambassador Jim Rosapepe served as U.S. Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001 and is a member of the CAA Board of Directors. He currently is Chairman and CEO of Patuxent Capital Group LLC and serves in the Maryland State Senate.
