Hungary, Nationalism and Hungary Relations with the EU and Russia


Former U.S. Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell joins podcast host Ambassador Jim Rosapepe to discuss the rise of nationalism in Hungary, tensions in Hungary EU membership and growing relations between Hungary and Russia.

 

Ambassador Colleen Bell served as U.S. Ambassador to Hungary from 2015 to 2017. Prior to her diplomatic service, she was a producer at Bell-Phillip Television Production sin Los Angeles where she was responsible for some of the most-watched television programmin gin the world, reaching more than 40 million people in more than 100 countries. Ambassador Bell's work frequently earned the field's most prestigious recognition for creative content, social awareness, and public-health education.

Ambassador Jim Rosapepe served as U.S. Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001 and is a member of the CAA Board of Directors. He currently is Chairman and CEO of Patuxent Capital Group LLC and serves in the Maryland State Senate.
