Ambassador of Denmark Lars Gert Lose joins podcast host Ambassador Jim Rosapepe to discuss Brexit, the future of the EU, the European refugee crisis and Denmark's view of the U.S. Presidential Primaries.
Ambassador Lars Gert Lose served as Ambassador of Denmark to the United States from 2015 to present. Prior to his ambassadorship in Washington, he was the Permanent Under-Secretary of State, where he served as Chief Adviser on Foreign Affairs to the Prime Minister. He started his career within the Danish Foreign Ministry in 1997 as the Head of the EU Coordination Office. Since then, he has held a range of high-level positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, such as Private Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Head of the Foreign Minister's Office.
Ambassador Jim Rosapepe served as U.S. Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001 and is a member of the CAA Board of Directors. He currently is Chairman and CEO of Patuxent Capital Group LLC and serves in the Maryland State Senate.
